Why is the truth so hard to admit sometimes? Ego? Pain? Perfectionism? Fear? It just seems like it’s easier to act like somethings just didn’t happen. Like when we trip over our own feet and keep walking as if nothing happened. But what about the serious stuff, as in mistakes and actions. Acknowledging the truth means admitting to what happened. Admitting to something can be scary because we don’t know what’s going to happen afterwards. How are we going to feel or how someone is going to respond or even what others are going to think.
